The Rosary Changes History

In 1571, the Pope asked all Christians to pray the rosary for the success of the Battle of Lepanto as Moorish forces sought to conquer Rome. The people answered the call and the battle proved a miraculous and decisive Victory for Christendom. Over 105 years ago this month, the Blessed Mother appeared to three shepherd children in Portugal as Our Lady of the Rosary. What followed was a series of visits from Mary, where she urged the children to pray the rosary for the conversion of sinners, she mentioned that many souls are in Hell because of sins against chastity and she asked for the Holy Father to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart.

Pope Francis recently consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Heart and has requested the faithful pray the rosary as a family. Just like Lepanto, and in response to Mary’s requests at Fatima, this is a spiritual call to battle. And, the rosary is our path to victory.

Last weekend, Catholic churches around the country were vandalized and a tabernacle was stolen from a parish by a group of lost and misinformed people. This coming Friday, the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, Catholics will be fasting and praying the rosary for the upcoming Supreme Court decision regarding the future of Roe vs. Wade. Now is the time to pray the rosary.

If you already pray the rosary or are new to the rosary and want to bring new depth and understanding to your prayer life, we highly recommend the Pocket Guide to the Rosary compiled by Matt Fradd. If you don’t have a rosary or can’t find your rosary, we have a new and beautiful, American made rosary from a Catholic family led business. In addition to being beautiful, the rosary is indestructible – made for pockets, purses and backpacks from polished stone. Lastly, if you are interested in Mary’s recent messages to humanity since Fatima, we are quickly running out of copies of the stunning World of Marian Apparitions coffee table book complete with photos, interviews and maps of the recent messages from Mary.

Our Lady of the Rosary, Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
