The first online and mobile accessible database of U.S. DV providers,

helping survivors find help faster and more easily:

The Safe Haven Network provides dedicated housing options for domestic violence victims and their pets by placing the pets in shelters and

foster homes while the victims stay in domestic violence shelters. By providing a dedicated service for domestic violence victims to escape abuse with their pets, The Safe Haven Network offers the safety options, support and the peace of mind that your pet is free from abuse as well. Referral requests must come from a domestic violence advocate. The Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline, at 1-877-TO END DV (1-877-863-6338, voice) or 1-877-863-6339 (TTY), is very familiar with our service, so any victims who are not working with an advocate can call the hotline and mention our service, and an advocate will be happy to help.
